Roxy Music played a three day run at The Hammersmith Odeon in London on May 16, 17, and 18 in 1979.
This particular show is attributed to May 18th.
First broadcast on In Concert, BBC Radio One FM on June 2,1979.
As usual, there is a longer BBC transcription on BBC In Concert 202 with one more song ("Editions of You") added, and various bootlegs.
Thank you for this one DV, but I have a question (and yes, you know I get confused easily - lol). Very close to the top of this post you give a date of May 18, 1982, but then indicate that this was recorded on May 18, 1979, and first broadcast in 1979. Could you please clarify that for me? Thanks again!

ReplyDeleteMy BBC In Concert 202 also has another extra track, 'Manifesto' is the opener.
ReplyDeleteSometimes the BBC In Concert/Transcription shows would have an extra track or two, since they do not put advertisements during the programs. They have to take a track or 2 off of the BBC Rock Hour here in the US since they have advertisements during the program. I have been trying to find a lot of the BBC In Concert programs, but most are way out of my price range.
