Hellborg, Lane & Sipe - Live at Fredman's Cafe
Malmö, Sweden
November 15, 1996
A+ mp3 @ 320, 136 MB.

From the Dave Sez archive, this second Jonas Hellborg post hits the classic period of HLS, already showing the growing Indian influence on this astonishing jazz fusion - the level of musicianship from all three has to be heard to be believed. This is a Swedish FM public broadcast.

Track List:
1. Radio Intro (0"47')
2. Rag Baraji (19"04")
3. Deep Umbra (6"37')
4. Stellar Rays (8"56')
5. Rice With The Angels (23"34')
6. Radio Goodbye (0"45')

Thanks to Dr. Fusion and ron1965!

True, drkick, no doubt SilentWay will sort it out - maybe drop him an email. And yes, this gig is as good as it looks! Cheers, dave Sez.

Two things: Arizona Jones has posted a great HLS gig from August 1996 - go get and give thanks at http://arizjones.blogspot.com/2015/05/shawn-lane-jonas-hellborg-jeff-sipe.html. Secondly, seeing his post made me check the Hellborgs/Lanes that had been posted here - all dead now. So, is anyone interested in re-posts/more posts of Hellborg or Lane? Over to y'all to comment ... cheers, Dave Sez.
