We've got all four disc labels scanned at 300 dots per inch!  And the two page cue sheet!

But wait, there's more!  We have the original script for you to read!  Yes, in the privacy of your own home, you can practice being a radio announcer!  You can pause the recording and do the "open!"  You can read the "close!" Impress your friends! You'll stand out at the party when you show off your professional radio announcer skills!

------

The script says "recorded live at Nichols Arena in Denver Colorado, in May 1981."

Wiki says:
"McNichols Sports Arena was an indoor arena located in Denver, Colorado, United States. Located adjacent to Mile High Stadium and completed in 1975, at a cost of $16 million, it seated 16,061 for hockey games and 17,171 for basketball games.

It was named after Denver mayor William H. McNichols Jr., who served from 1968 to 1983."

It was demolished in 1999, just 24 years after it was built.

We've got a newspaper clipping that confirms the date and venue.

Belly - Roskilde Festival 1995

From The ORIGINAL FBS archives!!

Belly - Roskilde Festival
Roskilde, Denmark
June 29, 1995
FM Source @ 320

Following several years in Throwing Muses, as well as a brief detour in the Breeders in 1990, Tanya Donelly formed her own band, Belly, in 1992. With Belly, Donelly expanded her dreamy pop hooks into more concise, catchy songs, as well as harder-edged rock. The band's 1993 debut, Star, became one of the first beneficiaries of the commercialization of alternative rock; it rode to gold status within its first year of release, as "Feed the Tree" made headway on mainstream pop radio. Despite their strong start, Belly never became genuine stars, and once their 1995 follow-up, King, bombed, Donelly disbanded the group in 1996.

Set List:
01 – Dusted
02 – Angel
03 – Untitled And Unsung
04 – King
05 – Now They’ll Sleep
06 – Full Moon, Empty Heart
07 – Super-Connected
08 – Feed The Tree

Van Morrison And Friends - The Blues Buddies

Van Morrison And Friends - The Blues Buddies

Liberated Bootleg

I couldn't find any info on this boot other than VLS Records is a Dutch record label from Beilen, Holland that apparently specializes in organ music if that's who put this compilation together, go figure! And that it's fantastic! Van performing with some great musicians.

Blotto has a website at:  https://blotto.net/index.html

The website has everything you'll need to know about the band, including Blotto merchandise.

The short version of their story is: Blotto was a regionally popular band from the Albany area in New York that mixed humor with a party band sound.  The band issued several independent EPs and an album, and received national exposure when their video for "I Wanna Be A Lifeguard" was aired on MTV. They opened for Blue Oyster Cult on a tour.  In spite of the national exposure, they were never signed to a major label contract.

I found print ads for The Chance Club & Restaurant that show Blotto was booked in January, March, July, September, October, and November in 1982, plus some press coverage.

We're missing the cue and disc scans but once again, Discogs has provided some replacements.  They're not up to my 300 dpi standards but it's better than nothing.

I've included a bit of press coverage.  Yes, back in the olden days we read things written by humans instead of generated by computers.

I was unfamiliar with both of these bands but enjoyed giving them a spin on the old Victrola.
