After giving it some thought, I figured there was really only one choice for my inaugural post here at the FBSVIP. Last month, my blog caught its first two complaints, both the same day. Delmark raised some issues with my linking their material (turned out their Director of Promotions was actually a regular reader of my blog...oops). That ended amicably enough, though the second complaint is what cheesed me off. Koko Taylor's set from New York's Marquee Theater, March 13, 1992, though part of Alligator Records' 20th Anniversary Tour, had been traded freely for years--and not one note of this material has ever seen official release. Whoever went running to Google on me never bothered to contact me directly.

Whatever...

So I figure if I'm going to start posting here as well as on Backwoods, it's only right that I begin with Koko...
