"On
behalf of his family, it is with deep and profound sadness that we
share the news of Jeff Beck's passing," the statement said.
"After
suddenly contracting bacterial meningitis, he peacefully passed away
yesterday. His family ask for privacy while they process this tremendous
loss."
Speaking
when he was inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for the second
time in 2009, Beck - said: "I play the way I do because it allows me to
come up with the sickest sounds possible."
"That's the point now, isn't it? I don't care about the rules."

Hi folks, remember me? Sorry I've been away so long but I have been working on a book about the strange coincidence's between the deaths of Elvis Presley and Lee Harvey Oswald. For instance, did you know Lee was arrested in Dallas in November. Elvis Presley gave a live show in Dallas. In Elvis's live show (in Dallas) just before he starts to sing "You Gave Me A Mountain" Elvis coughs three times, however bootleg tapes have surfaced and it sounds like there may be a fourth cough. I know....I know...your intrigued, But you'll just have to wait. So for my Thanksgiving treat to you I give you this show which you probably already have. @320 kbps I have broken this up to three sets so that it will fit onto CD's

Boy I suck. I hardly posted anything last month. But after a severe tongue-lashing by The Boss I intend to make up for it in the month of March. However, with enoch being down, I did manage to stock The Bookstore. So for the month of March I'm gonna clear the external and give you many, many songs for your enjoyment. So in the coming month look forward to seeing such exciting post as Kelly Clarkson and Jim Morrison do the songs of Frank Fontaine, That SUPER rock group Daughtry live from the toilet bowl at the Hollywood bowl. An extremely rare recording The Osmonds on The Andy Williams show on L.S.D. Another hard to find item Reg and Elvis do Jesse Colter. Iggy finally going the full Dylan on his hard to find Raw Power in the style of Frank Sinatra. And many, many others. See scans

While brother Jobe is relaxing on his beloved sofa watching some Action - movies with the family and while Silentway has to entertain his audience on his others 120 music blogs, not to mention Draftervoi, it seems to be my turn to bring some classic English Rock music onto the Wagon on this cold and grey Sunday winter day.

Excellent Jeff Beck performance on German TV!
Probably the best TV show in Germany ever. Long haired Uschi Nerke presented the show on Saturday afternoon I guess once a month! Classic...(haha)
And I`m glad it`s 1972. Cause at this time Beck released his "Rough And Ready"(1971) and "Jeff Beck Group"(1972) albums,my all time favourite Jeff Beck releases.
The vocals sound somehow dirty (Bob Tench) and the guitars are raw and exciting.
Fantastic!
Oh,yes,I forgot:the following songs are songs from the mentioned albums...
Video of the show included (mp4)!
01 - Got The Feeling (6:17)
02 - Situation (5:55)
03 - Morning Dew (5:54)
04 - Tonight I'll Be Staying Here With You (5:10)
05 - Going Down (5:01)
06 - Definitely Maybe (7:27)
