Wovenhand - Live at Roepaen -2010 (Rockpalast)

The line-up (Edwards, Garrison, Humbert and Linsenmeier) plus Greek percussion player Lukas Metaxas played a gig in an old church in Ottersum (Netherlands) in October 2010. An ancient building well known for its very special atmosphere and amazing acoustics, the room was the perfect setting for Woven Hand’s first live album – Live At Roepan.

David Bowie - January 8, 1947 - January 10, 2016 ~ R.I.P. ~

David Bowie -  January 8, 1947 – January 10, 2016
~ R.I.P. ~

British music legend David Bowie has died after a long battle with cancer, his official Twitter and Facebook accounts said Monday, prompting an outpouring of tributes. Mr Bowie died on Sunday surrounded by family, just two days after he turned 69 and released his new album Blackstar. "David Bowie died peacefully today (Sunday) surrounded by his family after a courageous 18 month battle with cancer," said a brief statement posted to both his Twitter and Facebook accounts. "While many of you will share in this loss, we ask that you respect the family's privacy during their time of grief," it added.

The death brings the curtain down on one of the most acclaimed artists of modern British music.

The Billy Cobham - George Duke Band - Montreux Jazz Fest 1976

~R.I.P.~
George Duke - January 12, 1946 † August 5, 2013

BILLY COBHAM / GEORGE DUKE BAND
Recorded live at "the Montreux Jazz Festival" , July 6, 1976

Excellent lineup Cobham has 3 Americans with him as he toured across Europe. George Duke on keyboards of course played with Zappa as well as Jean-Luc Ponty. Alfonso Johnson on bass is probably best known for his work on those 3 classic WEATHER REPORT albums. John Scofield on lead guitar has quite a long solo career and put out an album with Pat Metheny.

Check out how YOUNG Alphonso Johnson is at this time!

- Billy Cobham / percussion, drum synthesizer, vocal
- George Duke / keyboards, vocal
- Alphonso Johnson / electric bass, Chapman Stick, vocal
- John Scofield /electric guitar,

The Stone Roses - Blood on the Turntable

Excellent documentary on The Stone Roses from 2004

~This is what was said about one their "Second Coming" Tour performances.~
Sounds unrehearsed - especially the older songs, with guitars and drums coming in at the wrong place. Ian sounds shite. Squire uses an 89-90 sounding guitar for the older songs and Ten Storey Love Song, which he doesn't do on any other Second Coming gig I've got. The Roses were still a bit rough round the edges in this early Second Coming gig. Robbie Maddix has not come to terms with the songs yet and is awful. Ian seems completely disinterested with the whole thing. Ian starts missing words out all over the place, and the band begin to falter too. Ian sings but he sounds like he has a sore throat. Ian also insists on turning up his mic, leading to occasional feedback later on. This is probably the Roses' last stand, and you can hear why. Ian Brown stares into space whilst shouting out the songs without any hint of a tune. Combined with Aziz's emotionless guitar playing and Nigel Ippinson's "Put your hands together… come on!" antics, the Roses are killed off in front of your very own eyes.

Buckethead and That1Guy - Club Infinity July 28th 2008

Buckethead plays a full shredding set and then that 1 guy joins him as "Frankenstein Brothers". Buckethead is a one-of-a-kind artist who is severely underrated. The same can be said about that1guy, these two one-man-band's are a perfect match on stage! Much appreciation goes to those who made this recording with 3 audience cams and soundboard audio. Be sure to show your support and buy music from both of these artists, and do NOT miss them live!

~Wiki~
Buckethead (born Brian Carroll), is a guitarist and multi instrumentalist who has worked within several genres of music. He has released 43 studio albums, four special releases and one EP. He has performed on over 50 more albums by other artists. His music spans such diverse areas as progressive metal, funk, blues, jazz, bluegrass, ambient, and avant-garde music.

Buckethead is famous for wearing a KFC bucket on his head, emblazoned with an orange bumper sticker reading FUNERAL in capital black block letters, and an expressionless plain white mask which, according to Buckethead, was inspired by his seeing Halloween 4. At one point, he changed to a plain white bucket that no longer bore the KFC logo; but subsequently reverted to his trademark KFC bucket. He also incorporates nunchaku and robot dancing into his stage performances.

As an instrumentalist, Buckethead has received critical acclaim for his electric guitar playing, and is considered one of today's more innovative guitarists. He has been voted number 8 on a list in GuitarOne magazine of the "Top 10 Greatest Guitar Shredders of All Time"[7] as well as being included in Guitar World's lists of the "25 all-time weirdest guitarists" and is also known for being in the "50 fastest guitarists of all time list".
