10 John Brodey - Rock Around The World Outro
Rock Around The World ran from August 1, 1974 to Jan 14, 1979, producing 232 shows (according to https://ratw.com/shows/ ) The shows were primarily interviews or artist specials with studio tracks. They featured a lot of prog-rock groups.. including groups I've never heard of like Rocky's Filj, Syrinx, and Satin Whale.
They also had a small number of concert shows, such as this one. There's nothing in the documention as to source and date. At the end of Statesboro Blues, there's a "thank you" that might include the radio station but it's not clear.
As the host was John Brodey, a disc jockey and program director at Boston's WBCN-FM during the 1970s, and the show itself was produced in Boston (1108 Boylston St, Boston 02215), I took a look on the Internet to see if I could find a Steve Hillage or Sea Level show from WBCN, but did not find anything. Both of them were on tour in the USA in January & February of 1977, so it's likely to be around that time.
Our friend propylaen2001 pointed out that the song that is listed as "Echo Solo" on the cue sheet is actually "Lunar Musick Suite > Meditation Of The Snake" in an abbreviated version. I've retagged the file, updated this Text file, and reposted the corrected version.
