The cue sheet for this is missing.  I've included scans at 300 dpi of the CD disc, the front and back covers, and a track listing that came with the CD.  I don't know if the track listing is official, but as it says "For full details see cue sheet"  it's likely it was.  Flac files of wavs, digitized from the original CD.

There's no date for the recording, but it's likely from 1998, as the bulk of the songs are from Catatonia's 1998 album,"International Velvet," and the CD has "June 1998 034" stamped in the center of the disc.

The first track is just a few seconds of audience applause and would be better merged with the first song, but as I'm going for an "archival" duplication of the original release, I've left it as it is.

If you're not familiar with the band, they're Welsh, worked in the Brit-pop style popular in the 1990s, and the lead singer, Cerys Matthews, has a great voice.

One of the most celebrated country-folk performers of her day, singer/songwriter Iris DeMent was born on January 5, 1961, in rural Paragould, AR, the youngest of 14 children. At the age of three, her devoutly religious family moved to California, where she grew up singing gospel music; during her teenaged years, however, she was first exposed to country, folk, and R&B, drawing influence from Loretta Lynn, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, and Joni Mitchell. Upon graduating high school, she relocated to Kansas City to attend college.

After a series of jobs waitressing and typing, DeMent first began composing songs at the age of 25. Honing her skills at open-mic nights, in 1988 she moved to Nashville, where she contacted producer Jim Rooney, who helped her land a record contract. Dement did not make her recording debut until 1992, when her independent label offering, Infamous Angel, won almost universal acclaim thanks to her pure, evocative vocal style and spare, heartfelt songcraft. Despite a complete lack of support from country radio, the record's word-of-mouth praise earned her a deal with Warner Bros., which reissued Infamous Angel in 1993 as well as its follow-up, 1994's stunning My Life. Her third LP, 1996's eclectic The Way I Should, marked a dramatic change not only in its more rock-influenced sound but also in its subject matter; where DeMent's prior work was introspective and deeply personal, The Way I Should was fiercely political, tackling topics like sexual abuse, religion, government policy, and Vietnam. In 1999, she collaborated with country man John Prine on his album, In Spite of Ourselves. DeMent recorded four duets with Prine that earned her a Grammy nod the following year. Her own recording career was on hiatus for the late '90s and early 2000s, but she returned in 2005 with Lifeline. ~ Jason Ankeny, Rovi (AMG)

Labeled by the music world as "Gothic" which misses the point of this band all together. 16 HP simply borrow from the past and show us what music can become when in the hands of masterful craftsmen.

Please,Please don't let the low bit-rate of this deter you from downloading this.  These are studio recordings and so they sound GREAT!!!  I have obtained the script for this movie and seeing as how it has the title "It Happened At The World's Fair" lined out and is only three pages long, I can relay it to you here. " Elvis sings the title song, and is having trouble with money his girlfriends and his boat, Elvis sings "Row Row Row Your Boat"  Elvis's rival makes fun of the song and as such they have the fight scene.  Elvis's girlfriend now falls for his rival, at which point Elvis sings " You Cheating Whore Slut" (deleted from the movie) Elvis now enters a talent contest where he sings the song "A Girl's Gotta Do, What A Girl's Gotta Do" he wins the contest with a prize of 2000 dollars which is enough for him to buy his boat back from his rival (played by that great actor Tab Hunter) wins his girlfriend back with the song "Keeping Tab's On Your Heart" and they live happily ever after as the final credits roll the song "Beyond The Valley Of The Dolls" plays.  THE END. Influenced by piano-stompers like Little Richard and Fats Domino, Herman Brood began studying at art school by the time he was 17; one year later, however, education became a secondary concern after he joined a group called the Moans. That band later became Long Tall Ernie & the Shakers before he joined one of the best Dutch blues combos of the '60s, Cuby & the Blizzards. He performed with the band during the rest of the '60s and into the '70s, but then broke off in 1974 to found a group named Stud. The following year's Flash & Dance Band was his first solo album, though the formation of the band Vitesse (with Herman Van Boeyen) in 1975 resulted in a group album as well, In Vitesse.

By 1977, Herman Brood had rounded up another loose backing band, this one known as Wild Romance. The first album with the new band, Street, was followed by Shpritsz one year later. The latter album contained a surprise hit, "Saturdaynight," which hit the American Top 40 in 1979. His two albums after the success, In a Bad Mood and Go Nutz, were each poorly received by both critics and fans, however. He slowly worked his way back with the more successful LPs Wait a Minute and Modern Times Revive.

Brood moved into acting as well by the mid-'80s, and made several high-profile festival appearances, but then retired from music by the early '90s. During the '90s he devoted his time to painting, returning to the music scene to promote a new compilation as well as a live album. On July 11, 2001 Brood committed suicide by jumping from his room at the Amsterdam Hilton.
