Another tape I got in trade back when it all went through the U.S. Postal Service.
Often attributed to November 25, 1975..but that date is incorrect.
Possibly sourced from BBC Rock Hour #4 with the number 011779 on the tape box, indicating a broadcast date of January 17, 1979. That matches with Brian Matthews dating the concert as "three years ago."
Tracks from the show were released on:
Emmylou Harris And The Hot Band – Stereo Pop Special-117
BBC Transcription Services – CN 2506/S
which adds If I Could Only Win Your Love, and Tonight The Bottle Let Me Down
There's a version at Guitars101 with even more tracks, and the note:
"The date is not quite correct: November 25 1975 was a Tuesday and my memory says this concert was on a Sunday. The generally accepted date seems to be November 15, a Saturday, so I may be slightly misremembering, but it was definitely a weekend.
Great gig and especially memorable for James Burton's solo in "Shop Around" which was played with his guitar held behind his head. Saw an interview with Emmylou a little later and she said he must have been really enjoying himself that night, as he only did this when he was.
I believe this was her first European appearance anywhere. The BBC later broadcast an hour from the show - my tape long disintegrated - but this is not that a) because it's longer and b) because the songs are not all the same ones - I seem to remember Cash on the Barrelhead was included and it's not here"
Using that eyewitness account as a guide, I confirmed the correct date is November 15, 1975 by finding a newspaper review.
