Gary Rossington, Allen Collins, Artimus Pyle, Billy Powell, Dickey Betts, Charlie Daniels, Jimmy Hall, Bonnie Bramlett, Robert Nix, The Outlaws, Lenny LeBlanc, Taz DiGregorio, Mike Duke, Barry Bailey.

The Lynyrd Skynyrd plane crash occurred on October 20, 1977, when the band’s chartered Convair CV‑240 ran out of fuel and crashed near Gillsburg, Mississippi. The Lynyrd Skynyrd and Friends – Superjam I concert in Doraville, Georgia, took place on August 30, 1978. From October 20, 1977 to August 30, 1978 is 10 months and 10 days. So, the Doraville Superjam was about 10 months and 10 days after the crash.

This period included the band’s recovery, legal battles, and eventual reformation under the leadership of Ronnie Van Zant’s brother, Johnny Van Zant, before the 1978 Superjam tour

Lester Butler (born in Virginia, November 12, 1959 – May 9, 1998) was a blues harmonica player who achieved fame with the Red Devils Blues Band, which backed such notables as Bruce Willis and Johnny Cash in Los Angeles performances. He achieved his greatest fame in the Netherlands, where Lester Butler tribute bands still perform. He had rhythm, melody, and soul … and a classic understated way of putting it all together.

Jefferson Starship’s flight was always turbulent. Following a disastrous visit to Berlin in June 1978, Grace Slick departed, and was soon followed by Marty Balin. A car crash that October forced drummer John Barbata to leave too, but the band managed to regroup and release Freedom At Point Zero in November 1979. Showcasing new singer Mickey Thomas and new drummer Aynsley Dunbar, they embarked on a promo tour, playing classics from throughout their career, as well as more recent material. The superb performance on this set was originally broadcasted live around the US on various FM radio stations, including KSAN.

In January 1976, Neil Diamond triumphantly returned to performing after a four-year hiatus, during which he’d focused on himself and his family. The following month he travelled to Australia, where he played a triumphant series of shows as part of his ’Thank You Australia Tour’, covering material from the breadth of his career. The rapturously received final performance on March 9th 1976 – in front of 38,000 fans at Sydney Stadium – was telecast across 37 stations.

Recorded live in New York City and “L’Secret L’ocation” in 1975.

The Amazing Kornyfone Record Label (TAKRL) was one of the first bootlegging record labels in America. Kornyfone was based in Southern California in the 1970s. The label released albums from such artists as The Beatles, David Bowie, Bob Dylan, The Grateful Dead, Led Zeppelin, Elton John, Joni Mitchell, Pink Floyd, Genesis, and others. Kornyfone was noted for their packaging, with interesting artwork and informative covers.

According to Clinton Heylin, “Though Dub’s output [at TMQ] in the five years separating Great White Wonder from Tales from The Who had outstripped any of his competitors, TMQ’s catalogue pales alongside what Ken and co. unleashed between 1974 and the end of 1976. A hundred-plus titles from the flagship label, The Amazing Kornyphone Record Label, were supplemented by represses of Smokin’ Pig titles, thirty-two titles on TKRWM (The Kornyphone Records for the Working Man), a dozen double-albums on Singer’s Original Double Discs (SODD) and sixteen releases on Highway High Fi Collector’s Edition Records (HHCER) (which regularly appeared with TAKRL or Smokin’ Pig labels - just to add to the confusion).” The TAKRL label was active between 1974 -1977. In 1978 they re-pressed some of their titles with black and white covers. — wikipedia
