Sherlock
Holmes has long been a staple subject for detective stories. The
humorous, and at times surreal, approach to the Holmes mythos taken by
Phil Austin, Peter Bergman, David Ossman, and Philip Proctor is both a
mockery and a sincere tribute to the Holmes character. If you can't
imagine how it can be both, just listen 4 or 5 times and it will all

The original recording of "Stop The Cavalry" by Jona Lewie was mainly an anti-war song, released in 1980 on Stiff Records. The song hit #3 on the U.K. charts and #2 in Australia, but wasn't released in the United States. In 1981, the Cory Band with the Gwalia Singers released a cover version (also on Stiff Records).
