Johnny Thunders:Ex New York Doll Ex Heartbreaker. Formerly non-deceased (RIP)
More showman than Guitar man, he was an obnoxious junkie fuck who cared for nothing else but himself. Give Thanks. Give Praise.
Wayne Kramer:Ex-MC5 guitarist extraordinaire. Ex-Convict (2 years for the indiscretion (felony) of selling coke). Producer of Scum-Fuc messiah G.G. Allin. Currently non-deceased and still kicking out the jams.
Both these cats are proto-punk icons. Creating and participating in some of the most influential albums of all times. Yada! Blah! Etc!
Gang War assembled themselves shortly after Kramer got out of prison. And through my usual exhaustive 5 minute Google research, I offer little else of anything worthwhile. I am not aware of the identities of the drummer or the bass player. Nor do I exactly care. For those with the ultimate details obsession, look it up and get back to me..
What I can tell you is that there is some fucking fantastic music contained herein. The recording is not as usally clear as I present. I'm not sure if this is an audience recording or maybe a slightly lo-fi SBD. You decide and get back to me
Formally Deceased
