First of all, I feel like a sh*tbag douche that I'm raining on Jobe's Bowie post, but this place is an anarchy and sometimes it happens...normally I'd wait a day and post it tomorrow but it turns out that my former drummer is giving a public lecture on Soul Music at a local arts collective, and I plan to turn up, (hopefully draggin' my daughter along, who has recently discovered she loves Arthur Alexander's "Every Day I Have To Cry Some" 45)...
so I have to pull the trigger now.
Hey, Jobe...sorry, man...I'll defo check out the Bowie....
Elvis Costello & The Attractions
November 23, 1986
Royalty Theatre, London, England
Sourced from BBC transcription discs.
Recorded for broadcast by the BBC. Complete show, though some tracks were reordered to make two 60-minute discs. (The true running order was: Accidents Will Happen - The Beat, Tokyo Storm Warning - Blue Chair, Jack Of All Parades - Clubland, I Want You - Leave My Kitten Alone, Oliver's Army - Poor Napoleon).
The booklet is a "tri-fold" that's longer than my scanner,
so I've left the third panel as a separate scan.
This is flac files of wavs, plus a 300 dpi scan of the
paperwork and disc labels.

Anyway...are you folks interested in more of these Elvis Costello silver CDS? I've got a stack of 'em down in the basement and I'd be happy to convert 'em to flac and scan the packaging...my schtick has been producing archival copies of syndicated radio shows, but my darned sound card input has gone screwy, so I'm saving up the $$$ to buy a NAD PP4 Digital Phono USB Preamplifier so I can run my turntable directly into my computer (hey, I can put it on the MasterCard and get it tomorrow, but I have strict budgeting rules about my music hobby....). Anyway...you folks want more of Costello boot CDs? Let me know.... I'd be happy to convert 'em, if you're interested.... And yes, this particular show has excellent sound quality, just in case you were wondering...
