The article from the Philadelphia Daily News says the Splitz Enz set was from "the most exciting rock show of the season...."P.O.P. '82, starting tomorrow afternoon at the Mann Music Center."

That was a quadruple bill, with Squeeze, Split Enz, Madness... and Duran Duran as the opening act.  I have no idea what the P.O.P. acronym stood for. If you've got the answer, please leave a comment.

Split Enz was a New Zealand band of the 1970s and early 1980s featuring Phil Judd and brothers Tim Finn and Neil Finn. They achieved chart success in New Zealand, Australia and Canada during the early 1980s, most notably with the single "I Got You", and built a cult following elsewhere. Their musical style was eclectic and original, incorporating influences from art rock, vaudeville, swing, punk, rock, New Wave and pop.
