Merry Xmas to you bastards. Now some of you don't deserve this nice present I am about to bestow on you.  But hell it's the holidays?  And if I'm to believe Nostradamnit we ain't got long at all. Hey as Jim Morrison once said "I'm gonna get my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames" So with that, I give you JOBE'S CHRISTMAS WISHES. First, I wish that all birds stop shitting on my windshield. Second, I wish that all speed bumps be eliminated. Third, I wish my dogs don't want to go for a walk at 4:30 A.M. be it minus ten degrees (with a wind chill of minus 26) or be it 95 degrees. Fourth, I wish that when I'm stopped at a traffic light a street bum does not run out in front of me (after my light has turned green) to grab that shiny dime from the guy/gal in front of me who has not proceeded in order to make him/her feel good about themselves. Fifth, I wish my cats would let my carpets (that I just spent hours on cleaning) wait at least a week before they vomit all over them. Sixth, I wish my wife would not want "TO TALK" right in the middle of a possible game winning drive. Seventh, I wish that Full House never returns in ANY KIND OF FORM. Eighth, I wish Iggy Pop would have a number one album. Ninth, I wish Doris Burke never be allowed to call a men's college basketball game. Tenth, I wish Taylor Swift would sleep with me but not sing. Ah hell that's enough for now.  Now about this download. It is a Westwood One Radio show.  I'm not about to list all eight volumes of the songs for you ungrateful fuckers, however I will tell you it features The Beatles, The Stones, The Kinks, Eric Burdon And The Animals, Cream, Hendrix, The Yardbirds, The Who, Led Zeppelin and many others. Rock City was a San Francisco night club located at Broadway and Montgomery Street, close to the location of other well-known venues such as the Mabuhay Gardens and The Stone.  While it was short-lived, they managed to put out a compilation of artists that played the club.  I included scans of the front and back cover and the disc labels, and I found some information in an online scan of the October issue of Damage magazine about some of the bands.  Flac files of wavs.  This was digitized from a sealed copy of the album.

While all of these fell under "punk" at the time, the styles are actually all over the place.  Ultrasheen does a funk cover of James Brown's "Super Bad," and the Two Tones are a reggae band.
