This grouping was originally set to be called The Official Receivers, The Three Trojans (after McJohn departed) or The Pie, but ended up billed by promoters as Humble Pie. McJohn was let go after suffering drug troubles and the remaining trio toured Australia in October 1982 billed as Small Faces to entice patrons. In January 1983 Leverton ran into trouble at U.S. Immigration and was deported back to England.

Faces - Alan Freeman's Saturday Rock Show 1972 / Leslie West and Steve Marriott The Firm Demos

 *THANKS TO THE ORIGINAL POSTER

Not really a two for one, but seeing as both of these shows are short, The Faces clocks in at a little over 30 minutes and the Leslie West Steve Marriott at a little over 15 minutes I thought I'd post these together. So take your pick, you can download one or you can download both or you can ignore this post all together. See scans

Humble Pie with Steve Marriott (videos)

(The ghost of Steve Marriott beckons you to pay attention to him during this hard cruel winter: You've been sentenced to 30 Days in the Hole, y'all. This is not the long studio version--but it howls.)

(Or as Jobe once said about Dolly Parton, "I'll kiss her snatch and fill her hole with soap--I mean, I'll snatch a kiss and fill her soul with hope!")

But after hearing him say that, Miss Dolly made sure Jobe needed a doctor.
Mrs. Jobe did too. And poor ol' Jobe knows what's ailing, wailing, and flailing him:
TWO angry women. Lord have mercy.
