Here's an unknown generation tape that I received in trade back in the 80's. There's no venue listed on the cassette. Sound quality is very good, this is likely a first generation off a master cassette.
The date on the cassette says December 8, 1985. I found no evidence that they toured Japan in December. I knew Aztec Camera toured Japan in February 1985 (there's an article mentioning their tour manager was going there on honeymoon during the February tour).
The AC FB page has a mention of a Tokyo show on Feb. 24, 1985; that led to a Soundcloud page at:

I compared samples and that's the same as this cassette.
That's got the full broadcast and establishes the date of the show, but leaves the venue as a mystery. My guess is that the show was edited down and rebroadcast later in the year, but that's unconfirmed.
This cassette version has less hiss than the Soundcloud version, so it's worth preserving.
