A Walk Down Abbey Road is a tribute concert tour dedicated to The Beatles, launched in North America in 2001 under the direction of renowned producer and musician Alan Parsons and running annually through 2004.1 The inaugural 2001 production featured an all-star lineup including Parsons on keyboards and vocals, Ann Wilson of Heart, Todd Rundgren, John Entwistle of The Who on bass, and David Pack of Ambrosia, supported by a house band comprising guitarist Godfrey Townsend, drummer Steve Luongo, and keyboardist John Beck.

Each 2001 performance was structured in two halves: the first showcasing individual hits from the artists' catalogs, such as Wilson's "Crazy on You" and Rundgren's "Hello It's Me," followed by a collaborative second half covering Beatles classics like "Hey Jude," "Revolution," and the medley from Abbey Road. The 2001 leg ran from June to July across numerous U.S. and Canadian venues before extending to Japan in November, highlighting Parsons' deep ties to Beatles history as the engineer on their Abbey Road album. Notable stops included the Sun Theatre in Anaheim, Wolf Trap in Vienna, Virginia, and festivals like Taste of Minnesota and Summerfest.

Critics praised the ensemble's energy in the Beatles segment for its faithful yet fresh interpretations, though some noted uneven pacing in the opening solo sets. The production captured the enduring appeal of The Beatles' catalog, blending nostalgia with live rock prowess during a time of renewed interest in their legacy.
