Golden Earring, one of the longest-running bands in the world, announced that they will perform one more time during ‘One Last Night’. At the initiative of George Kooymans, who can no longer play due to the progressive ALS disease, artists such as DI-RECT, Maan, Danny Vera, Acda en de Munnik, Frank Lammers, The Opposites, Son Mieux, Flemming, DeWolff, Davina Michelle and Guus Meeuwis have been approached to perform the Golden Earring repertoire. Barry Hay, Cesar Zuiderwijk and Rinus Gerritsen will take the stage together with their friends. Part of the proceeds from the concerts will go to the ALS Netherlands Foundation, which finances scientific research into the cause and treatment.

Here is one of the recordings that I made and put online on Dimeadozen in October 2012. It's nice but I find it strange that we don't mention the source and the username of the taper and that in addition we broadcast this recording in mp3 despite the uploader's request...Too bad!
